Great job on your blog jlyreen! I love the quote!! For your problem statement, remember to try and focus on one aspect, either low academic achievement OR low parental involvement. You can discuss both for purposes of the assignment, but be sure your actual problem statement only focuses on one of them. Think about the root of the problem (is the problem low to no parental involvement or low academic achievement?) Also keep in mind that you will have to provide evidence for the existence of the problem so your choice might be based on which you can support easier with evidence.
